Getting Started

 

The very first step is to change your domains DNS to the name servers you received in the welcome email sent to you.If your domain was purchased from us this step will be automatically setup for you. If you didn't purchase it from us and need more information please visit our knowledgebase for the nameservers for your hosting platform.

After your DNS changes have been made please allow 24-48 for your dns to propagate worldwide. During this initial 24-48 hours your site will be working one minute then be offline the next. Please call us if after two days your site is still not working.


Uploading to your site

You can begin uploading to your account now by using a ftp client or use the control panel inbuilt html editor to start designing your web site. If you are using an ftp or frontpage extensions to upload your web pages put in your sites ip address under the "host address" field. Once your ftp is connected go into the "httpdocs" folder and begin uploading to your site. To replace the default place holder page you must upload an index.html in all lowercase lettering.

Using Sitebuilder

Sitebuilder, an online WYSIWYG editor comes with all hosting plan. You can access sitebuilder wizard immediately from the control panel although your web site may be unavailable until propagation completes, you can still design and publish your web site. The Sitebuilder wizard comes with online help and additional information is also available in our knowledgebase.


Reviewing your web site statistics

All hosting packages comes with a web site log analyzer. You have the options to choose between Webalizer and Awstats. To view the report for your web site open this url in your browser http://mydomain.com/plesk-stat/webstat/ (where mydomain.com is the name of your website). Please allow 24 hours after account creation for web statistics to be generated. IMPORTANT: For privacy and protection of your data, your web statistics page is password protected. you will need your FTP username and password to gain access.

Note: "yourdomain.com" should be your sites IP address until your dns has propagated.

  • To Manage your domain and web site please use the control panel . Your control panel address can be found in the welcome email sent to you.
  • To view/pay invoice, submit a ticket as well as manage your account and domain contact information please login here
  • Your webmail is located at http://webmail.yourdomain.com  (won't work for first 24-48 hours)
  • You can start designing your site immediately using our sitebuilder but your web site will not be available to visitors until after propagation

How to use support ticket system:

When your e-mail is received by the system you will get a ticket number e-mailed back to you. If you do not receive a ticket number we did not get your e-mail. With ticket support your questions or hosting issues are quickly addressed because your ticket is escalated to the appropriate level until the problem is solved or question answered.  Most support tickets are are taken care of within minutes. if it is a complicated issue it may take longer as it is moved up to higher level technicians. If you're ever unhappy with a response or need more help simply respond back to the ticket and we will continue to help you.

Please do not open multiple tickets on the same issue or your request may be delayed or completely ignored.

Please always provide a step-by-step of how to reproduce your problem including any login information that may be needed.
