Knowledgebase  //  How do I transfer my domain to Afrowebservers.com?  Print this Article

Your domain must have been registered for at least sixty days before you can transfer it to Afrowebservers.

To transfer the domain you need to have the domain unlocked and you need to ask your current registrar for the Authorization Code.

It's important when preparing to transfer domains to ensure that both the registrant contact and the administrative contact email addresses are valid. Both contacts will need to approve the transfer, so you must ensure you can access mail for both before starting the transfer process. Your current hosts can help you with this.

All domains will require administrative authorization. This means that when we initiate the transfer, the Administrative Contact will be sent an email requesting their permission to transfer the domain. Instructions on how to do this are included with the email
